some people don’t understand it

and that’s why they need courage

they ask for it quietly

screaming out to the world

and contained deep within if they could see it

if they could feel it

they would find it
some people let it fill them

they find it easily 

and it may even be overwhelming 

at first

they are the ones that give courage

they show others

they know about how it burns 

and how it soothes 
this enduring love

this hopeful spirit 

it’s the kind that will continue 

because it does

there is no more reason for it than that
