who showed up at the spa today

to give birth

to eggs in the barren planter by the jacuzzi

and to papa goose on the railing enclosing the spa

and to the little rabbit who scampered by later:

may i offer you some spa water?

i hope you feel safe

i hope you like the ambient music and happy hour trail mix available

i have to say — i’m concerned about your nest

they may have to move the eggs

i know it’s this really nice spot

i’m just not sure about it

do you know how honored we felt that you chose us though?
